Chef Megan Potts’s Biography

Chef Megan spent her formative years outside of Paris, France. Being able to enjoy bakers, butchers, cheese makers and other wonderful fresh produce from farmer’s markets gave Megan a unique view on food. Her chef father inspired her and passed on his secrets of the trade.

Her formal training began at the Culinary Institute of America Greystone in Napa Valley. Chef Megan was trained in classical French techniques and she has had the privilege of cooking under James Beard and Josh Besh. With them she developed a taste for southern creole and Cajun dishes. Recently she has been part of bringing fresh seafood to Fort Worth at John Bonnell’s restaurant Waters and is changing the culinary scene at Kitchen LTO in Dallas.
