Inn on Lake Granbury exterior

Editor-in Chief names the Inn on Lake Granbury as one of his favorite spots in town!

Hayden Walker, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, visited Granbury for a story on the most unique small towns across the state. He stayed at the Inn on Lake Granbury, and selected us one of the “classiest spots in town” and noted that our inn is “stunning.”

Walker marveled at our lake front setting within walking distance to historic downtown Granbury Square and praised our luxurious accommodations, saltwater pool with waterfall, and landscaped grounds overlooking Lake Granbury.

When it came to our lovely area, he found that Granbury, located 35-miles south of Fort Worth, Texas, was a special destination for foodies and for wine lovers. In fact, with three wine vineyards, a winery in the historic courthouse square, and one of the fastest growing microbreweries, Revolver Brewing, in the state, our historic town — and its 8,000 people — have much to offer visitors seeking an exceptional experience.

Several Granbury restaurants and attractions made it into his story, as did our hearty breakfast and complimentary wine and appetizer social hour in the late afternoon for our guests. Walker also specifically mentions The Eighteen Ninety Grille and Lounge in his story. The fine-dining steakhouse, which offers a relaxed yet elegant setting, is part of our Dine ‘N Stay package. So, book your room and add the Dine ‘N Stay package! You will save 10% on your room, and receive a gift card for $100 for dinner at the Eighteen Ninety Grille. Click here for details.
